Clay board is a composite board consisting of clay, reed and hessian. The reeds from managed reed beds run along and across the board length and the board is faced on both sides with hessian. This acts as reinforcement and a plaster key. The constituents are mixed wet and formed into panels then cut to length and width.
Claytec undercoat plaster is made of clay, sand and straw, giving it a coarse structure as a key for the finishing coat.
Claytec Topcoat plaster is a blend of clay, fine aggregate and organic fibres that is supplied as a dry powder. It has an indefinite shelf life if stored dry and requires only mixing with clean water to be ready for use. It hardens by drying - no chemical reaction takes place - and so remains workable for a long time and can be re-worked by the addition of water at any time.
Clayfix Coloured topcoat and fine coloured topcoat are a self-coloured blend of clay and fine aggregate supplied as a dry powder in 4 colours, ivory, yellow ochre, red ochre and grey which can be blended to give a range of finished tones.

Reedboard is a rigid building board. It is made from natural reeds laid parallel and tightly bound using thin gauge galvanised wire, Reed boards are suitable for internal use as a base for plastering on walls and ceilings. They can be used against a solid background or over studs or joists as a practical alternative lining material to gypsum plasterboard and lath-and-plaster.
